The most well known structures in Santa Barbara are the Hotel Virginia, historic El Pueblo Viejo area and the Old Mission’s pink towers where events are held. The County Courthouse includes colorful murals, while the clock tower and observation deck give a great sight over the city. The 1873 established Lobero theatre holds events and was built again by George Washington Smith in the ’20s. The city’s beautiful buildings stayed intact thanks to the city planner’s detailed planning.
